The Ministry of National Economy and the Stone and Marble Industry Union in Palestine have reached an agreement on a mechanism to develop and enhance the stone and marble sector, as well as protect the national product to strengthen its export capabilities. The committee will establish the necessary implementation procedures, including tracking stone imports to ensure compliance with the approved stone specifications, which are considered one of the tools for protecting Palestinian stone. Additionally, the certificate of origin will be linked to the stone classification.
